They don't call anymore, at least they don't me. Good luck on getting your product, gamestop has been declining in quality of service for a while now.
I would request regional supervisor number, that always got me results in there.

At my store, we got an email about supplies being limited and that we should call customers in the order that they pre-ordered. The email yesterday said there would be one more shipment, but I'm not sure that's the case and I'm not working today or tomorrow to follow up. Good luck.

I stopped in to my GS just moments ago. After checking their inventory, they reported that they hadn't received them yet. He was able to tell me they shipped on Monday. The guy thought they'd arrive tomorrow, but he said, rather matter of factly, that they'd call me when it came in.
I'm not too worried about it.

Before mine came in and I had asked if they would call me the girl said they only call on major releases, then the automated system makes the call. But she said for a minor thing like this, calls do not go out. So I take that to mean, it's up to a store to make individual calls themselves if they 'feel like' being 'nice'.

Hey I pre ordered mine and my gamestop told me on Tuesday when I went to pick it up that they had a late shipment but I recently read an article saying that the sales on the limited edition were not that good but you saying that you preordered they should have held one for you so I would complain about it and have them special order it for you.

Took the plunge and scooped one up on eBay.
I'm not going to risk these getting to crazy level prices. $40 shipped is fair at this point.

Just like they said yesterday, today I got a call from my GS telling me they had arrived - I stopped in and picked it up. I asked if they'd get more and the guy reported that it was very unlikely and he shared an anecdote about another store requesting one from GS Corporate and being denied. So, there's that.
