Jack Skellington Box & GameStop Exclusive 10/5 - 10/28

I just went to my GameStop and they had about 5 Jacks just sitting on the shelf waiting to be picked up by anyone

Just picked up Jack from GameStop and got an awesome poster for free. Apparently they are giving them to the first 50 people who pick up Jack. A little surprised a week out and they still had them...

I just returned the one that came in the mail since I ordered the exclusive one once announced. ( I could not stop the original one from shipping, dumb). They still had more posters so the guy said here take another one even though I had gotten one when I pre ordered the exclusive jack. My son is happy.

^^^ After speaking to a GameStop employee this is spot on. They're not sure if he will even release tomorrow. The rep also said they may only receive enough to fulfill per-orders.

Hmm, well if that's the case, looks like my attempt at picking one up in store tomorrow may not pan out. Ah well, you win some you lose some.

I sent another email today and got a bit more thorough response from the higher ups. These were supposed to arrive for the event last weekend, but production fell behind. Stores should be receiving them tomorrow and should receive enough to fill preorders, but there won't be any extras. On one hand, this is kinda awesome because it's truly limited and that's cool for collectors, but on the other hand, I didn't get an opportunity to pre-order it and I'm bummed that I most likely missed out.

I had it pre-ordered with them for a while. I went in on the Saturday they were released, and the clerk convinved me to upgrade to the special edition. I figured it was only a few bucks more, so why not? He said he would call me when they came in, not knowing the exact date.

Still haven't heard anything from the store. So I called myself and asked if they've come in. The guy stuttered a bit and said that they're being given out on a first come first serve basis. Like... ok? Meaning what, they did come in and you sold them all?

Looking on ebay, they're now selling for 50 bucks and up. I know I can go in and get my money back, but that's not good enough. I want the damn thing that I ordered. What would you do in this situation?
