Play With NPC

Like my old topic: I saw this picture in the Disney Infinity facebook page.
I am thinking, and i need an answer: If i Play alone, and i create a maze like in the picture. Can i put some NPC's for play with me?

I think you're able to spawn NPCs, but I don't know about programming them to act a certain way.

I remember seeing a video in which a developer was talking about npcs and bad guys using logic to make a type of battle and what not, or set them up as guards. For instance, if you crossed into a certain territory the toys would attack you. I am not sure however if you can use logic to make them find their way through a maze? Part of me thinks that kind of coding is beyond the tools available, however with an emphasis on racing abilities one would have to think there is some kind of way to get npcs to follow a track or cross a finish line? Perhaps there is a away to make them follow you around?
