How easy is it to unlock items in Speedway? Do the coins appear in the same place? How do you unlock items?

Coins always stay in the same place. So you'll get items by collecting those. Some items require winning races etc

I think they made it easy to unlock everything. The hardest part is to unlock free mode by getting 1st in everything.

Don't forget about the Sugar Rush grand stands. You have to complete a race with three other players to get them.
