Why is every Disney animated movie compared to the Lion King?
Especially when none of them even have a similar theme?
For instance, Frozen is about two sisters ruling a royal kingdom frozen due to a curse.
In what way is that similar to a movie about lion cubs and animals singing happy songs?
Also, I see red whenever I hear that comment because Lion King has an infamous reputation with adults, kids love it, but their parents hate it.
Which can result in negative reactions from the parent when the kid won't stop obsessing over Lion King.
I've never seen the Lion King, but I wasn't that impressed with it from what I have seen here and there, I definitely wouldn't rate it as one of Disney's best movies.
In fact, it's pretty low down on my list, it's somewhere near the end.

The above video has a snippet of the soundtrack and I have to say from 3:03 onwards, that song ("Do You Want To Build A Snowman") has already made me cry (WITHOUT the animation). I can say Disney is back now.
