DUE DATE: WEDNESDAY, 2/17 AT NOON PT
Build a side-scrolling challenge where you can only go up, down, left, and right. The Path Creator Tool is essential to make your character stay on a 2D grid! All Toy Boxes are due by Wednesday, 2/17 at noon PT. Be sure to use #SideScollerChallenge in the description of your Toy Box to be considered!

I think I may enter this one, but I've got a question before I go ahead. I know characters can be restricted to 2D movement with the path tool, but is there anyway to do this to flying vehicles also?

If you put them on a path it is like auto pilot...

Edit: if I have time, now I want to try a side scrolling shooter...

I have a stage I made for the Mickey challenge that never got accepted so I think I'll go back and re-submit it for this challenge

Me too! I might submit one for this challenge as well. I got many ideas for this one, but it's hard to choose.
*UPDATE* I believe I just found my inspiration for my side scrolling toybox. Hope I have enough time yo pull it off! It will be inspired by my all time favorite Disney Channel film. ;)

I just submitted a side scrolling level. I don't think I'll win, but I wanted to try experimenting with some logic combinations to create a simple chase level, with an old school epic boss at the end. I'll let everyone know if it gets approved.
