Some toy boxes are appreciated for how fun they are and others on how complex they are

What do you think counts as a puzzle toy box? Do you think it would be enough that there's mysteries in the story that you find out as you play the toy box or does the toy box have to focus on puzzle gameplay because I only have a few puzzles in my toy box and I'm not even sure if they are puzzles because they are quite simple.

If the player has a choice and that leads to success or failure it seems like a puzzle to me... Mazes, patterns, multiple choice/doors, objectives in sequence etc... Need a key to proceed ... Doesn't have to be complex I don't think. But I am not a judge.

My first puzzle toybox is up

Sliding Puzzler

Hopefully the leaderboard is hooked up soon ;) It's a sliding puzzle where you can only move pieces to the blank spot on the board. How many moves will it take you to complete the puzzle. Easy and hard mode in game.

Played sliding puzzler, really impressive with the joystick movements! The puzzle was tricky too but before I could finish my character glitched through the invisible walls and I had to quit. :( But everything else was really impressive, just thinking about the required logic makes me dizzy! :)

@Semerian, I was trying to make something like that at first but it failed so I'm glad someone with better logic smarts could do one! Excited to try it out and see if I can get the high score! ;)

I recommend everyone to play the blueprint of puzzle, it really gives out some ideas. You can even do quizzes as puzzle and such. It's a great brainstorm of ideas. Don't be afraid of trying new ideas!

and i'm taking one last stab at this. Had to delete another 1000 logic connections and come up with a new plan as logic became unstable at scale. The only way I see this getting done, as there is not enough time to redo it all, is if I scale it back dramatically :(
I was also getting concerned that some of the logic would not be consistent cross-platform as I was taking shortcuts to preserve memory by relying on the order of events occurring (ie with counters, target reached ALWAYS occurs before count changed, at least on xbox one - but i don't have another platform to test if that (and many similar connections) is true on PS/WiiU/PC/Ios

And not being able to control color changing in the same order without excessive extraneous logic toys and not having the ability to dynamically enable/disable pressure plates is killing me.
