Hey guys,

Just wanted to jump in confirm that the "Toy Box Game Maker" is infact your new BFF when it comes to protecting your creations.

Placing it in your box won't lock everything right away, but it does allow you to save it as a toy box game. (Like Lauren said, when you enter the "save game" screen, tap the right shoulder button to switch from regular saves to "toy box game saves". When you submit to Disney, hit the right shoulder button again to access your "toy box game" saves.

I prefer saving a version of both when I save - a regular save and a toy box game save.

If you enter the properties of the toy, you can adjust enemy difficulty, in addition to enabling or prohibiting the following (it prohibits all as a default):
Editor Mode
Magic Wand
Logic Editing
Toy Customizing
Toy Moving
Toy Deleting
Camera Cancelation
Hexagonal Power Disc Use
Editor Filters

I very well may have just repeated what others have said here, but just wanted to let you guys know there is a way to protect your creations if you wish to do so. I'll try to check this thread throughout the day if you have any other questions!

^ Between you and I we can make sure everyone who need to know how can upload their boxes as Toy Box Games.

The two save method is key. The Toy Box Save is where you do your work and then you save it as the Toy Box Save.

I just want to make sure i understand this. If i just save a toybox its visible to my friends and they can edit it. I have to save it as a Toy Box Games for it not to be editable. Why did they not make it like 1.0 and give you a choice to put it in the cloud?

No, if you upload it or allow friends to play as just a toy box save then it can be edited by others. They still can't play it without you specifically uploading or sharing. But if you don't want it edited or used in someone else's toy box after you've uploaded it, you need to upload it as a toy box game.

I saw someone's toybox have "Created by Vault of Villains" in the description, so either they uploaded a 1.0 toybox created by VOV in an attempt to pass it off as their own, or they hoped no-one would notice that their Disney ID was just a generic "inf" one and not Vault of Villains.

@supermrmojo If that's in the description it's likely a 1.0 challenge winner from @vaultofvillains

Thanks for the heads up by mightygitis on this one. It is a bit concerning having toy box's uploaded by someone else that we have spent time on fir them to get it featured as they own. And I know this new way of uploading games to Disney is new and there was bound to be a few bugs in the system which I have faith the devs will sort out.
But I agree that in the mean time we protect our submitted toy boxes so others can't use them as they own.

Disney and Avalanche can and will fix this.
