Disney Infinity 2.0 at E3 2014: One Topic For Everything

@Westline, If you put down a playset piece on the base in 2.0, it unlocks ALL the toys from the playset

Westline, my understanding after listening to the interviews. When you put play set piece down it will unlock all of the toys you have earned, but you will not be able to play the play sets.

Putz, I understand that, but have we gotten verified, official confirmation of that?

Meaning, did someone say during the E3 event this week, "World Cubes are not backwards compatible, period. End of story."

Because I tried pretty much the entire month of May to get a solid answer about this and all I could get was "more info is coming soon! wait untll later!"

@Westline, Yes, JV has said that is what will happen.

The guys at Avalanche(nice people that bunch) have told me not to worry about the Chest Glitch, so we'll have to see, though, that was in regard to 1.0 to 2.0, but since toys seem to be in a tree...There we go.

Musicboy, by any chance do you have a link to the E3 interview where JV says that World Cubes are not backwards compatible? I have not been around all week and have missed all of the various E3 videos that have been floating around.

backwards compatible? like avengers work in 1.0? no that won't happen, they've said that day 1. forwards compatible? it's like musicboy and putz say, putting a play set piece on the base from 1.0 in 2.0 unlocks the content for the 2.0 toy box. take your pick of videos they say it in almost all of them from e3. it's not that hard to get caught up just check out the OP's of the E3 threads.

@toops they said 1.0 can download the toy box and then later on buy the play sets. That was in 2 interviews I seen today
