SpiderTalon here, saying hello and introducing myself.
I got into Disney Infinity 2.0 by accident. My wife and I are big comic fans and hobbyist artists (although she is far better than I am) and we have a keen eye for nice sculpts and paint work on figurines, statues, and so forth. So, I bought her Captain America as one of her birthday gifts last year.
We proceeded to purchase more and more of the figures, prioritising them in the same way we would any other decorative figurine. But when we married (on May the 4th, no less), I gave her a copy of 2.0 so we could see all our guys in action.
We have a gaming background, both having spent a lot of time playing City of Heroes and DCUO (I even create an Android app for the latter called Tyto, which you can get on Google Play), and we both loved to build bases and customise our characters' styles and such.
We had no idea Disney Infinity had level building tools. We were blown away.
She loves to build huge, beautiful landscapes, with themes and back stories. I, as alluded to already, have a coder mentality and love putting together all the logic to build functional levels.
We have since bought a second copy of the game to run on our second PS3, so we can both sit snuggled up on our sofa and build until our thumbs hurt!
I found this forum via DaddyGeek's YouTube videos, so many thanks to you if you're reading this Daddy (or should that be Mr Geek? Or just Ron?).
I can't promise I will become a part of the furniture around these parts, but if nothing else I wanted to say hi and hopefully in the future I can point you towards some of the levels my wife and I create. Maybe even entertain you with them
