Welcome chescat, glad you decided to join the party as you put it, always good to have new members

Hey everyone! My name is Mark and I'm brand new to the forums here!

I've been an Attractions Cast Member at the Disneyland Resort for six years and I'm a big fan of the Toys To Life genre of video games. I've been a big Skylanders fan since day one and got into Infinity initially due to fellow Giant Bomb ally John Vignocchi. I wasn't the biggest fan of Infinity at first, preferring the gameplay and such of Skylanders much, much more. Now that I've been spending more time playing 2.0 Edition, though, I've finally seen the light. I spent much of the time trying to see Infinity as a Skylanders type game when I should have been seeing it as more of a Minecraft style game. Now I have a much deeper appreciation for the game and it's systems and, of course, the amazing creativity of the community.

So I'm very excited to be a part of these forums and look forward to exploring (and maybe even creating) some inspired experiences alongside some of my favorite Disney pals... Even if 2.0 constantly reminds me that I need to get around to watching these Marvel movies one of these days :p

P.S. Donald is the greatest Character ever. Please don't tell my boss.

I guess I should stop lurking an start introducing...

I'm Mike, 40, and love games of all type (RPGs, Board games, tabletop, videogames...). I've introduced Infinity to my daughters with the 1.0 version, and got hooked myself on the pirates playset. Was looking foward to 2.0, but as I like the playsets more than the toy box, was a bit sad by the lack of contant. My daughters are still hooked to the toybox. I am looking foward to the 3.0 edition for I still remember seing the first trilogy in the theaters. I would still like to see some disney originals playsets, and more villains (Hook and Jaffar being my favorites).

Hey folks. Just getting into Infinity so I thought I'd join the boards instead of just lurking. I'll be buying 3.0 which will be my first experience with the console game, but I have started collecting some figures already from the previous versions. I'm a huge baseball and football fan, and a father of a nine month little dude. He already loves Mickey Mouse so I'm quite sure that Infinity will be a game we'll play together someday. I've been a Star Wars and Disney fan since before I can remember so the 3.0 announcement meant it was finally time for me to invest in this game. Looking forward to it!
