My guess is that Sakurai will announce four or five characters that will be pre-installed on Smash U, and will come through an update for Smash 3DS on 11/21.

^I hope you're right, except I DO want it to be so 3DS-only users have to link it to the Wii U to get those characters.
I know half the people looking at this hate me, right now, but that's the point. More than half of you don't have a Wii U, but this will make you, and millions of other people want one.

I'm not part of that half because I have a Wii U and I love that console! I'll definitely be buying the game again for Wii U, my pre-order is already placed some months ago. :lol:
But do you really think we will get even more characters (excluding DLC)? The roster is big as it is already.

I hope we get more characters for smash u
It would add a bigger difference to the games
I would love a possible dlc or dlcs
Maybe a returning character dlc with ice climbers (my favourite), mewtwo, wolf, and snake that thing will print money
And a new character dlc
Nintendo should keep up with the trend of dlcs with mario kart and hyrule warriors
Maturer players will respect that
No matter what I can't wait until nov 21st

@randall Boggs
I don't think Sakurai will do that. After all, he wanted to give both versions the same roster for the sake of equality.

Yeah, it would still be POSSIBLE for the two games to have the same roster, and he could eventually add them as characters for completely free in March, or something, but Wii U owners get them super early.

^That'd still be unfair. I mean, wait until MARCH!?

That way everyone wouldn't NEED to buy a Wii U, but they'd REALLY WANT TO, which is perfect for kids who are starting to make Christmas lists, soon, and only have a 3DS.
It's fair. Nintendo sells more Wii Us, and people aren't FORCED to buy a Wii U.
It'd be stupid NOT to do it.
