Lego Dimensions

walkthroughs, hints, tips and glitches that are not Disney Infinity related

I'm seeing quite an interesting quote in this article.

Am I correct in interpreting this as claiming that all future Lego Dimensions packs will be compatible with the original version?

The main problem I have with the game at present is how expensive it is, so that kind of confirmation would be huge!

^The same thing was said about DI but then it didn't happen, so I have my doubts on that.

Plus it remains to be seen what the current level packs entail, let alone what "future expansions" even means. Level packs are $30 a pop so just getting Doctor Who, Portal, and BttF is $90, nearly the price of the Starter Pack itself.

New trailer about building the vehicles and some footage of characters like Scooby-Doo!

I just read an engadget article basically explaining why LEGO Dimensions' gameplay is lame and how Disney Infinity will continue to be a success with new game features and genres. It said features like the three vehicle combos just highlight how much Lego Dimensions cant do. Like you cant use your own creations in the game.

Reading that article, it sounds like dimensions is just your standard lego game with figures, I'm gonna get the new lego avengers game so had planned on leaving dimensions for a bit..

^Agreed.

14 licenses and 14 levels. Normal Lego game with an expensive gimmick.

I have officially decided today to skip out on LEGO Dimensions, now that I hear it just an average LEGO game with a lot of diversity.
One level for thirty dollars or an entire LEGO Avengers game for sixty this Fall with multiple levels, hundreds of characters, and hours of fun?
Not a tough choice
