Disney Infinity Fans

I watched spy a couple weeks ago. I loved Jason Statham's role. I didn't think it was that bad either.

I took the family to The Peanuts Movie Sunday and everyone enjoyed it.

Finally, last night I watched Tomorrowland. I didn't think it was terrible as everyone made it out to be.

we watched the good dinosaur today. unfortunately not one of pixar's better films. graphics were perfect as is expected by now from pixar but the story was simplistic and lacked any wow factor. i can now understand why there is only one Disney Infinity character and why there is no play set.

sanjay's super team the short preceding the good dinosaur was followed by my youngest son saying "what was that meant to be about?" my eldest son didn't have anything positive to say about it either.

The good dinosaur... Throughly enjoyable... Possibly more melocoly than funny (unlike the perfect balance of inside out) and the story wasnt the orginal but the idea was good and it look stunning... My sister liked it... The short was ok but not as good as lava:-(

The Peanuts Movie! I love Pixar, but for me, Charlie Brown was the best movie of the year.

Last movie I watched is Elf, and as usual, hilarious no matter how many times I see it.

I want to talk about The Good Dinosaur though. I saw it the day after Thanksgiving and it was... A tad underwhelming. I am not saying it was a bad movie but definitely not Pixar's best. It just felt kind of recycled. Mixes of Lion King, Ice Age One, etc. On the other hand, the movie was beautiful environment wise, but the cartoony dinosaurs in contrast to the realistic environment was odd and sort of uncomfortable to see.
Also, the short before hand was probably Pixar's worst. It was just kind of confusing and I didn't even know it was a short until about half way in, I sincerely thought it was a trailer for some other movie. It just felt so out of the blue and different, and being different isn't bad, but it did not have as much of an emotional impact as most of their other shorts.
I liked it, and it definitely is not their worst (That would be Cars 2) but it was not their best. But hey, the good news is the next Pixar movie to come out is FINDING DORY!!!!

That movie... with the flashy swords... and that ball-shaped robot... it was pretty good
