From videos I have seen so far the missions act very basic and dont present to much challenge, I know this is a kids game but I hope missions gets increasingly more complex instead of climb a building, save a citizen. I hope there is a nice variety of missions like platforming, puzzles, combat, bosses. But I guess thats what toybox is there for. What do you think, write an idea on the different types of missions and if you think it looks like the challenge will get raised toward the end of the playsets. One last thing, I cant WAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIT GOOOOOOOOOOOOO DISNEY INFINITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There's a difficulty setting in the playsets.

I know during a Cars demo, there was a race where you can set the A.I. difficulty from Easy, Medium, to Hard. There are also achievements to complete missions on different difficulties. I'm sure each playset will have different types of missions based on what the playset is about.

I was playing Disney Infinity at an event in the UK and I saw one of the mission "zones?" and you can set the difficulty level as the others have said. :)

Yeah, I'd assumed that there'd be different difficulty levels, so it's good to hear it confirmed. In the Toy Story 3 game, when you were riding Bullseye through his different challenges, once you completed the bronze difficulty, you could go for silver, and then gold. So I figured we'd see something like that in Infinity. It's awesome that they've taken into account that this game will appeal to lots of different audiences, both in terms of age and gaming experience, and they've made the game adaptable for that.

I would imagine the difficulty affects the reward, i.e. money and experience. That would be a cool incentive.

I think I saw in a video that each difficulty gets you a different trophy - bronze,silver,gold...
Then you can get a Hall of Heros building in the toy box and you can view the prizes you have and haven't got.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I think this is the case :)

In the playsets I've played (Incredibles, Pirates) most of the missions on Medium were somewhat challenging, so I wouldn't worry about the missions being too easy.
